In parallel with his musical career, he is a television presenter for programmes on tourism, culture and the arts in Mozambique (RTP and STV) and a social activist for humanitarian causes, having been UNICEF´s first Goodwill Ambassador in Mozambique.
He was the first Mozambican to study at the Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts, a higher education institution, where he is now a member of the African Evaluation Committee and a consultant to the African Scholars Program.

Some of his songs now figure in soundtracks of TV film series (TVI Portugal), and also in a South African feature film in which he made his acting début in a cameo role.
In 2012 Sukuma registered his own “Stewart Sukuma” brand for fashion accessories, becoming the first Mozambican artists to take this path.
In 2016 Caetano Formula appointed him as the first ambassador of the Renault brand in Mozambique.
He is the managing director of Stewart Sukuma Ltd, a company that is intrinsically linked to the cultural sector. The company works with national and international partners from various business sectors, governmental and non-governmental institutions.
